corresponds to the indicators of steel 20, metallographic studies have shown that
the structure of the ferrite-perlick metal. On separate grinds, the beginning of
decomposition of perlite in some cases, the content decreased by ~ 10%, the size of
grain of steel 20 on all four samples is 7-8 points in accordance with GOST 5639-
82, the amount of perlite has decreased from 35% to 30%. At 3 specimen, even
20% on a scale 7 of GOST8233, on some specimens, the decomposition of perlite
is noted in the components, significant corrosion damage is detected. In order to
determine the possibility of further exploitation of the anode grounds of steel 20,
after laying from active substances near them conducted a study of mechanical
characteristics that manifested varied trends, namely: the deterioration of the
characteristics of strength and plasticity is tracked.
In the anode, along with which NaCl was laid, there are places of sharpening
of the wall of anode grounding to 2mm, which proves the effectiveness of the laid
active substances and an increase in the growth of the anode grounding.
Proved experiments on determination of mechanical characteristics of metal
pipes of steel anode grounds after prolonged operation with active substances
proved that the metal of steel anode grounding satisfies the current requirements of
steel 20 according to GOST 550-75.
Experiments of electrochemical characteristics showed that samples of
anode grounding after exploitation with active substances laid nearly for all
operating time were subjected to various active substances, which should have
changed their electrochemical characteristics. Activators practically do not affect
the corrosion potential of steel 20, and its corrosion activity after the anode
operation with the NaCl activator is higher by ~ 20% against the anode without it.
Investigation of electrical soil resistance and the anode–soil system showed
the effectiveness of the use of active substances to reduce the resistance in the
anode–soil system, which allowed to reduce the current load by reducing the
resistance of anode grounding. The most effectively on the anode was influenced
by NaCl, the effectiveness of such anodes proved to be the largest and resistance to
the least.
