ANNOTATION
Gvozdetskiy V.M. Scientific bases for increasing wear resistance of coatings
on aluminum and steel products by controlled formation of their structural-phase
state. – manuscript rights.
Dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in specialty 05.02.01
– Materials Science. – Karpenko Physico-Mechanical Institute of the National
Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Lviv, 2025.
The dissertation work presents a solution to an important scientific and technical
problem – by transforming the phase-structural state of surface layers of aluminum
alloys and steels using improved technological techniques and developed cored wires
for the arc spraying of coatings with predetermined properties, the operability of new
and restored parts was increased after their operation under conditions of the boundary
lubrication and abrasive wear for critical equipment of key industries of Ukraine.
The main regularities of the formation of hard anodic coatings and plasma-
electrolytic layers and supersonic arc coatings with specified functional characteristics
for increasing the wear resistance of products made of aluminum alloys and steels for
the needs of key industries, agricultural, food processing, mining and defense, based on
the established regularities of the influence of the composition of the electrolytes and
the synthesis modes of layers, the component composition of the cored wire with an
exothermic charge and the technological parameters of the application on the formation
of their structure, phase composition and wear resistance under conditions of the
boundary friction and abrasive wear, were determined. The methodological approaches
to the formation of a two-phase anodized layer with increased wear resistance were
developed. The main layer was dominated by a boehmite phase with a high hardness of
