               functional properties, fatigue life and cyclic crack resistance characteristics of NiTi

               alloy can be used to assess the functional and structural lifetime of devices based on

               SMA design and operation. There was proposed the methodology that allows to predict

               the lifetime of pseudoelastic SMA under low-cycle fatigue at a constant amplitude

               loading, taking into account the stress ratio and variable amplitude loading, based on

               the criteria of fatigue failure, namely, the total elastic strain energy density, that can be

               used  to  estimate  structural  long-term  devices.  The  obtained  research  results  are

               introduced into the educational process of the Department of Structural Mechanics in

               the  preparation  of  scientific  Masters  and  graduate  students  in  the  specialties  192

               "Construction  and  Civil  Engineering"  and  131  "Applied  Mechanics".  ASTC

               "Antonov"  (from  17.01.2020)  confirmed  the  possibility  of  using  identified  basic

               patterns of temperature and stress ratio on the functional and mechanical fatigue of

               SMA in the design of promising aircraft structures, as well as methods for predicting

               lifetime and residual lifetime of SMA at constant and variable amplitude loading. SE

               "Design Bureau" Southern "(from 25.08.2020) confirmed the use of the results of work

               in terms of calculation methods and methods of testing the functional properties of the

               damping device to assess the performance of devices to reduce dynamic loads during

               transportation of long structures. LLC "Standard-Park" (from 10.06.2020) confirmed


               the use of the results of work in terms of calculation methods and methods of testing
               the functional properties of the damping device to increase the load-bearing capacity


               of structural elements and engineering structures under the action of dynamic loads.
