Strength and durability of structures under complex loading

Scientific credo: theoretical and experimental methods and criterion of boundary-equilibrium state of solids with cracks under complex loading determination development for strength and durability evaluation of parts of structures under operating conditions.

Main research:

  • Determination of stress-strain and boundary-equilibrium states of parts of structures under complex static and cyclic loading using non-destructive methods of deformation monitoring.
  • Analytical and experimental methods of energetic, chemical, petrochemical and atomic energy branches durability evaluation development taken into account hydrogen influence.
  • Determination of strength and crack growth resistance of constructional materials and composites under static, cyclic and dynamic loading taken into account operating conditions (complex loading, hydrogen influence etc).
  •  evaluation of life time ferro-concrete and metallic bridges using deformation monitoring under operating conditions.
