Physical bases of materials diagnostics

Scientific credo: creation of analytic and numerical methods for solution of both direct and inverse problems in scattering theory; determination of field from defects in constructive elements under sensing by waves of different natures; estimation of defects parameters from characteristics of scattered field; identification of new physical dependencies in scattering for creation of diagnostics systems.

Main research directions:
Study of interaction of different natures fields (electromagnetic, acoustic, elastic) with defects in materials and constructions for a wide frequency range. Elaboration of methods and technical tools for diagnostics.
